Gas Gathering Station

Gas Gathering Stations (GGS) are systems Designed to collect Natural Gas coming from well heads for conditioning to make the Natural Gas suitable for end users.

Gas obtained from well heads is gathered by Production Headers, and collected for treatment process. The Methane (CH4) rich natural gas is separated from impurities such as moisture & dirt removal to make the gas collected up to Pipe-Line quality gas.

SOPAN has been pioneer in Designing, Engineering & Procurement of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Gas Gathering facility in India. We has been credited for Designing of India’s First Coal Bed Methane (CBM) based Gas Gathering Station for M/s Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd in Asansol (W.B). The Gas Gathering Station is Operated & Maintained by our team of Engineers having distinguished experience in operations of Gas Handling Facility.

Vapour – Recovery Units

Vapor (or vapour) recovery is the process of recovering the vapors of gasoline or other fuels, so that they do not escape into the atmosphere. SOPAN has capabilities to Design & Engineer customised Vapour Recovery Units (VRU), equipped with Emerson-Copeland Scroll Technology. Our Team of dedicated Engineers will ensure that the Vapour Recovery Units (VRUs) are custom made according to the ambient requirements.
